A focused session before you sign anything.

Offer review coaching is a single focused session designed for candidates who have received an offer and want to think through it before responding. We look at the full picture so you can make an informed decision.

What we cover

  • The offer itself including base salary, benefits, and any other components
  • How the offer compares to market rates for your role, level, and location
  • Whether and how much room there may be to negotiate
  • How to frame a counteroffer professionally without damaging the relationship
  • What to say, how to say it, and what to avoid
  • Non-salary components that may be negotiable such as start date, title, or remote flexibility

What this is not

  • Negotiating with the employer on your behalf
  • Legal, tax, or financial advice
  • A guarantee of a higher offer
  • Contacting the company or representing you in any way

Not every offer can be negotiated

Some entry-level roles have very little room, especially if salary expectations were discussed during screening. The goal is honest guidance about what is realistic so you can respond confidently without overplaying your hand.

Offer review is best used before you respond.

You are a good fit if

You have received an offer and want to think through it carefully before accepting, declining, or negotiating. You want honest input on what is reasonable to ask for.

Come prepared with

The offer details including salary, benefits, title, and start date. Any salary expectations that were discussed during the process, and any questions or concerns you already have.

How quickly do I need to book

As soon as possible after receiving the offer. Employers typically expect a response within a few days. Booking quickly gives us time to prepare your response thoughtfully.

Can this be added to a coaching package

Yes. If you are working through the Early Career Launch package and receive an offer during your engagement, offer guidance is included as part of that package.

Offer review and negotiation guidance is career coaching, not legal, tax, or financial advice. HR Expert to go does not contact employers, negotiate on your behalf, or represent you in employment conversations. If you need help understanding legal terms, equity, contracts, or tax implications, please consult an appropriate professional.
