By using this website or engaging HR Expert to go for coaching services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and anyone who contacts us through this site.
HR Expert to go provides private, virtual career coaching services including resume guidance, interview preparation, salary negotiation coaching, job search strategy, and professional profile optimization. All services are delivered by Ty Smith, SHRM-CP, operating under Smith Consolidated.
HR Expert to go is a career coaching service. We are not a recruiting firm, staffing agency, placement service, or employment agency. We do not represent employers, and we do not submit applications or resumes on behalf of clients.
HR Expert to go does not guarantee job placement, interview callbacks, employment offers, salary outcomes, or any other specific career result. Coaching is designed to help you present yourself more effectively and navigate the job search with greater clarity and confidence. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including labor market conditions, employer decisions, and individual effort.
Any examples of client outcomes shared on this site or in communications represent individual results and are not guarantees of similar outcomes for any other client.
Free discovery calls are offered as an opportunity to assess fit and understand your situation before recommending a coaching engagement. A discovery call is not a coaching session. No resume review, interview practice, strategy development, or other coaching work is included in a discovery call. HR Expert to go reserves the right to decline to enter a coaching engagement with any prospective client after a discovery call.
Paid coaching services are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Session details, scope, and scheduling will be agreed upon between you and Ty Smith prior to or at the time of payment. All sessions are conducted virtually by video call.
You are responsible for being on time and prepared for scheduled sessions. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited without refund at our discretion.
Payment is due prior to or at the time of each coaching engagement unless otherwise agreed in writing. We currently accept payment via PayPal. Receipts will be provided for all transactions.
Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. If you are unsatisfied with a session, please contact us within 7 days at ty@hrexperttogo.com and we will work with you to address the concern. We do not offer refunds for sessions that have been completed and delivered as described.
We treat all client information shared during coaching sessions as confidential. We will not share your name, career situation, or session details with any third party without your consent, except as required by law. We ask that you treat any guidance, frameworks, or materials shared during sessions as proprietary to HR Expert to go and not distribute them without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HR Expert to go and Smith Consolidated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or this website, including but not limited to loss of employment, loss of income, or career outcomes. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific coaching service in question.
All content on this website, including copy, design, and materials provided during coaching, is the property of HR Expert to go and Smith Consolidated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in Wake County, North Carolina.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of this site or our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
